New! 2007 Exit Survey Results
The first year for the new methodology for the Visitor Exit Survey provides a new benchmark for tourism in Prince Edward Island.  Implemented and analyzed by the Tourism Research Centre (TRC) at the University of Prince Edward Island, the exit survey provides valuable information for operators and destination management organizations about current tourism visitors.

2006 Tourism Performance Year-end Report
This report details tourism performance indicators from January to December in 2006.  It includes marketing, visitation and accommodation occupancy.

Tourism Marketing Conversion results (2006)
Each Year Tourism PEI hires a research firm to measure the results of the marketing campaign.  This report uses a sample of the number of people that requested information to find out how many of them actually came to the Island.  It also provides valuable information on party spending, age, household income and other demographics and psychographics that are important for future marketing planning. 

2006 Travel Activities Motivations Studies (TAMS)
Various Canadian tourism jurisdictions partner to conduct research on travel patterns and attitudes of US residents.   Report summaries are available on the Atlantic Canada Tourism Partnership website. 




A Case for Increased Investment in Tourism - The Tourism Advisory Council has developed a business case which demonstrates the rationale for increased investment in tourism.  Read more.
