PEI has a significant number of culture and heritage attractions and activities, in fact a total of 144 of these sites were inventoried as part of the Culture and Heritage Tourism Project spanning over 2 years. Experts in the Cultural/Heritage Tourism field conducted site assessments, mentoring sessions and provided an inventory to TIAPEI. TIAPEI presented this to industry at the Tourism Conference held in March and are currently developing an industry steering committee to move the sector forward.
