Coastal Touring
Scenic touring remains the number one ‘thing to do’ for visitors to the Island.  Since 2005 the industry and both levels of government have been implementing a plan to re-vamp the Provinces Scenic Touring Network.  This plan was based on extensive consumer research conducted in 2004.  The research reports are available by contacting Tourism PEI.

Western PEI began the process and have launched North Cape Coastal Drive, in 2006 Eastern PEI launched Point’s East Coastal Drive. Both drives offer visitors new signage, maps, scenic look-offs, touring routes and much more.  Central PEI tourism stakeholders have begun the process to look at re-branding the central touring region for the 2008.
